A lampshade decorated with a symmetrical pattern design which is repeated across the shade. I noticed this whilst shopping in TK Maxx. The minimal colour palette and strong bold lines of the design are enhanced by the white/cream canvas it is set on. I think the design gives definition and individuality to the product. It stands out and was the only one of that style in the shop. Products displaying this type of design do not seem to be mass marketed and I think this encourages other artists/designers to produce individual designs which can be appreciated by consumers.
